'Second Light' is a thoughtful reimagining of a much-loved Mosman home, perched high above Middle Harbour with an outlook that is both private and expansive. What began as a dated 1980s interior has been transformed through a series of careful, contemporary interventions—softened ceilings, curved walls that guide movement, and a warm, bright palette that invites light deeper into the plan. The existing bones of the house were strong, and with a sensitive touch we were able to retain its underlying clarity while crafting a new kitchen, living, dining and balcony level that feels generous, calm and connected to the harbour beyond.

This project holds particular meaning for us: an exceptional relationship with our clients, an efficient approval process, and a shared vision that made each step of the design feel purposeful. Second Light represents renewal in the truest sense—an opportunity to bring new life into a family home while honouring its original structure. When complete in 2026, it will be a place for our clients and their children to grow, gather and create memories, held within a home that feels both deeply familiar and beautifully transformed.
